If you have visited LutheranFCU.org recently, you probably noticed something different.

We have a new look.

But more than that, we have a renewed focus on making our website clearer, more helpful, and easier to use for the members, ministries, congregations, church workers, and families we serve across the LCMS community.

This new website has been a long time coming, and we are excited to finally share it with you.

Why We Made the Change

Lutheran Federal Credit Union has always been a little different.

From the very beginning, we were created to serve the LCMS community as a digital-first, member-owned financial institution. We do not have traditional branch locations. Instead, we serve members across the country through online banking, mobile banking, shared branching, surcharge-free ATMs, and personal service from a team that understands our mission and our community.

That digital-first model has always been part of who we are. But over time, we also recognized that our website needed to do a better job reflecting who we are today and where we are going.

Our members deserve a website that is simple to navigate, easy to understand, and helpful whether they are opening an account, learning about a loan, exploring financial education resources, or simply trying to find the right next step.

So we took a step back and asked some important questions:

• What do members need when they come to our website?

• What questions are they trying to answer?

• How can we make our products and services easier to understand?

• How can we better reflect the heart behind LutheranFCU?

• And how can our website communicate not only what we offer, but why we exist?

Same LutheranFCU. A Better Experience.

This new site is not a change in our mission. It is an expression of it. Our mission remains the same to be a

Christ-centered, exceptional, member-owned service provider of everyday banking solutions and products for the LCMS community and affiliated ministries.

But we wanted the website to feel more like the LutheranFCU we are becoming: modern, warm, helpful, and mission-centered.

That means clearer pages. Simpler navigation. More direct calls to action. Better explanations of our products. Easier access to resources. And a design that feels cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming.

We also wanted the site to better support the way people actually look for financial information today. Whether someone is visiting from a phone, clicking through from an email, seeing a post on social media, or searching for a specific product, the experience should feel simple and natural.

Built Around Our Members

One of the biggest goals of this project was to make the website more useful.

That sounds simple, but it shaped a lot of decisions.

We worked to make it easier to find information about membership, checking and savings accounts, vehicle loans, mortgages, credit cards, financial education, and the many tools available to LutheranFCU members.

We also wanted to make it easier for someone who has never heard of us before to quickly understand who we are.

LutheranFCU is not just another financial institution. We are the credit union of the LCMS. We exist to serve a specific community with financial products, personal service, and a mission-centered approach that reflects the values we share.

The new website gives us a better way to tell that story.

More Than a Fresh Coat of Paint

A new website can easily become just a design project. New colors. New photos. New buttons. New pages.

Those things matter, but they were not the real goal.

The real goal was clarity.

We wanted members to be able to find what they need more quickly. We wanted our products to be easier to understand. We wanted our financial education resources to be easier to access. We wanted the site to feel less cluttered and more helpful.

We also wanted the site to give us room to grow.

In the months ahead, LutheranFCU will continue expanding and improving the way we communicate with members online. This website gives us a stronger foundation for that work. It allows us to share updates, highlight resources, promote new tools, and better connect members with the financial solutions that fit their lives.

Moving Forward Together

At LutheranFCU, we believe financial services can be both modern and human. Innovative and personal. Helpful and rooted in something deeper than transactions.

That belief guided this website project.

We are grateful for the members who continue to trust us, encourage us, and help us grow. We are also excited for those who may be discovering LutheranFCU for the first time.
