Are you eligible to join?

Membership is open to individuals who meet one or more of the following criteria:

I am a member of a congregation of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
I am a Rostered Church Worker within The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
I am the parent or family member of a student attending an LCMS congregation-owned school.
I am a family member of a current Lutheran Federal Credit Union member.
I am an employee or volunteer of one of the following:
- Any congregation of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
- Any district of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
- Any synodical entity/agency of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

For organizations:

Congregations and affiliated entities listed above are also eligible to join and may open checking and savings accounts with the credit union.

How to get started with Lutheran Federal Credit Union

Become a Member

Getting started is easy. Click “Open an Account” to begin. Membership starts with a Stewardship Savings Account, which we fund with $1 to activate. From there, you’re welcome to add additional savings or checking accounts that fit your needs.

Set Up Online Banking

Once your membership is active, you’ll receive an email with instructions to access Online Banking. Follow the steps to log in and update your password, and you’re officially up and running.

Download the Mobile App

After setting up Online Banking, you can access our Mobile App through Google Play or the App Store. The app lets you manage your accounts on the go, including depositing checks by simply taking a photo.

Apply for Loans and Service

As a member, you can apply for any of our lending products at any time. Just select “Apply for a Loan”, enter your member number, and complete the application. Our Lending team will follow up with you directly.

Extend Membership to Your Family

Membership has its perks. Immediate family members are eligible to join as well, so feel free to share LutheranFCU with them if they’re looking for banking or lending support.
