Bank with confidence knowing your deposits are insured
What deposit insurance means for you
Credit unions are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), just as banks are insured by the FDIC. The NCUSIF is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government and protects deposits held at federally insured credit unions.
Each member is insured up to $250,000 per ownership category at the same credit union. Members with total balances of $250,000 or less in a single ownership account are fully insured.
