Prayers and Assistance
Our prayers go out to those already impacted by Harvey, Irma, Maria, and the California fires. We stand with you.
As a credit union, we understand that people often need cash – especially after a natural disaster. We also understand that the ability to start repaying any loans may be hindered in the period immediately following such a disaster. As such, we are offering the following opportunities.
First, if you reside in a disaster-declared county, already are in a borrowing relationship with LutheranFCU and have not yet connected with us, please do so. We are offering you the ability to defer payments on your existing loans for up to 60 days with no accrued interest during that time frame.
Second, LutheranFCU recognizes that a number of individuals will need to purchase automobiles in the coming weeks. In addition to competitive pricing on auto loans, LutheranFCU is extending the first scheduled payment due date for up to 75 days from the funding of the loan.
Third, if you are a rostered church worker and in need of a personal loan, please know that LCEF has a great offer for you. Recognizing that rostered church workers likely are not the only individuals in need of personal loans, however, LutheranFCU also is offering unsecured personal loans with competitive rates. Similar to the aforementioned auto loans, LutheranFCU is extending the first scheduled payment due date for up to 75 days from the funding of the loan to individuals in declared disaster areas.
Please note that all LutheranFCU loans also are subject to loan underwriting.
Again, please know that first and foremost our prayers are with you. If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
